Air India Express is an Indian low-cost airline, and a subsidiary of Air India. It was started to offer convenient, affordable flights for short-haul international routes from India to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Its headquarters are at Kochi.  

The airline’s fleet comprises of Boeing 737-800 aircrafts and it offers a single Economy Class.

Currently, Air India Express does not offer direct flights from Malaysia.

How to Check In Air India Express does not offer online check in. Check in at the airport up to three hours prior to flight departure with your itinerary, valid passport and visa to the check-in counter. Domestic travellers are required to show a photo identification card either in the form of a driving license of a credit card. Check-in counters close one hour before scheduled departure. Seating You can reserve seats in advance online at a nominal charge either at the time of or after booking. In-seat power is not available.	Inflight services Air India Express provides limited on-board entertainment facilities and some complimentary snacks. The airline has an Unaccompanied Minor service for children between five and 16 years of age. The service needs to be pre-booked at the nearest Air India Express City Office. In-flight Wi-Fi is not available.
