The Husein Sastranegara International Airport consists of one main terminal, handling both domestic and international flights. Do note that domestic travellers are required to pay an airport tax of IDR 25,000, while international travellers need to pay IDR 75,000.

There are several restaurants, cafes, and food courts at the airport. There are the usual fast-food options to suit generic taste buds, or Indonesian food for travellers who prefer something more traditional. Duty-free shops are also available at the Husein Sastranegara Airport, where travellers may purchase duty-free items such as liquor, tobacco, perfume and cosmetics. Other retail shops sell items like clothing, sunglasses, hats, shoes, bags, gifts and confectionery.

Trains hide 

The Bandung Central train station is about three kilometres away from the airport, where travellers may board trains to Jakarta. The journey takes to Jakarta takes about three hours, and the waiting time in between trains is about an hour. There is also a train service from Bandung to Surabaya, stopping at several locations along the way such as Banjar and Yogyakarta.

Buses hide 

The safest and most convenient option for travellers would be to arrange a hotel shuttle service to pick them to and from the airport. Do check with your hotel to see if they offer this service.

Taxi hide 

Taxis are a cheap way to travel to and from the airport. With taxis from various companies typically stationed outside the arrival hall, you’re advised to opt for the Bandung Blue Bird company. Fares should always be charged via the meter, so avoid cabs that want to charge a flat fee. The journey time into the city takes about 10 minutes.
