Manchester Airport, previously called Ringway Airport, is located in Ringway, southwest of the Manchester city centre. The airport consists of three terminals, handling domestic and international flights to numerous destinations around the world.

Shopping options are also extensive at the Manchester Airport. There is also a duty-free store in each terminal for travellers to purchase duty-free goods such as liquor, tobacco and cosmetics. Stores also provide services like home delivery, personal shopper assistance and gift-wrapping.
Business travellers may stay connected on the go with free wireless internet available throughout all terminals. Wi-Fi can be accessed via mobile phones, laptops or other electronic devices. Additionally, meetings and conferences can be held at the Concorde Conference Centre. The Manchester Airport Escape Lounge is a conducive place for travellers looking to work, as the area comes equipped with study rooms and computer access. There are also newspapers and magazines as well as food and drink. Travellers may access the Escape Lounge by paying a fee.
