Perth Airport consists of four terminals, three for domestic flights and one for international flights. A free airport shuttle service connects the international and domestic terminals.
Travellers who are in transit or waiting for their flights may visit the observation decks, where they can watch planes take off or land. There are observation areas in the international terminal as well as domestic terminals three and four. Additionally, the outdoor viewing area is open to the public, and comes equipped with infrastructure such as railings or ramps for wheelchair access. The viewing area is also a good spot to take photos.
Parents travelling with children may make use of the parenting rooms located in each terminal. Rooms are equipped with facilities like changing tables, nappy disposal bins and private feeding areas. Prams are also available to rent for use within the airport, but parents should inform their airlines in advance. Travellers who wish to freshen up may use the shower facilities.
Visitors with disabilities are required to notify their respective airlines beforehand, so that special arrangements can be made for them, with assistance provided by airport staff members. There are also several ramps and handicapped toilets within the airport.
Perth Airport provides free internet access, so travellers may connect to the Wi-Fi via their electronic devices. There are also internet kiosks with computers for those who do not have their own devices. Those who wish to mail out letters, postcards or parcels may do so at the post office on site. There are also banks and foreign exchange bureaus for travellers who wish to perform transactions or exchange foreign currency. ATMs are situated throughout all terminals for cash withdrawal, provided travellers possess bank cards suitable for overseas use.
Duty-free shopping can be done at JR Duty Free, with tax-free goods such as liquor, tobacco, perfume and cosmetics. In addition, there are numerous retail outlets selling items such as clothing and accessories, bags and shoes, books and magazines, games and toys, as well as gifts and souvenirs. Mobile phones are also available for rent if travellers are going to be in Australia for a period of time. Prepaid SIM cards may be purchased for use together with these rental phones. Additionally, there is also a wide range of food and beverage options, depending on whether visitors wish to sit down for a meal or grab a quick bite.
