Sultan Ismail Petra Airport is a public commercial airport located in the town of Pengkalan Chepa, near the city of Kota Bharu which is the state capital of Kelantan, Malaysia. Often referred to as Kota Bharu Airport, the official name was taken from the thirteenth Sultan of Kelantan, Ismail Petra.
