Guangdong Baiyun International Airport, formerly known as Baiyun Airport, is a major international airport located in Guangdong province’s capital city of Guangzhou in China. The airport is the third busiest airport in China.

The Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport only has one terminal building which is divided into three areas – the Main Terminal, Area A and Area B. The Main Terminal consists of all the check-in counters and most of the retail stores. Area A and B are where you will find the security checkpoints, boarding gates, immigration, customs and baggage areas. All domestic and international flights to Guangzhou operate at this terminal.

The airport has many facilities and services for passengers transiting, departing or arriving at the airport. Restaurants and cafes are available, but it would be good to note that many are not open 24 hours a day, closing between 10 to 11 in the evening. Free WiFi is also available at the airport capped at 300 minutes per session. Other services include banking services such as ATMs and currency exchange, business centre, duty-free shopping, massage, movie theatre and more. For business and first class travellers, there are several airport lounges located throughout the airport.
