Jeju International Airport is an international airport located in the city of Jeju of Jeju Province in South Korea. It is the country’s second largest airport after Incheon International Airport in Incheon, Seoul. The Jeju airport serves the area of Jeju Island and welcomes over 26 million passengers annually.
The Jeju International Airport has two passenger terminals – Domestic Terminal and International Terminal. The Domestic Terminal, as its name suggests, operates all domestic flights to and from the Jeju airport while the International Terminals operates all international flights.
As one of the major airports in South Korea, Jeju International Airport offers many services and facilities for the passengers. Banking services such as ATMs and currency exchange are available as well as duty-free shops and bookstores. For travellers with longer layovers or while waiting for their flights, can have meal or snacks in the number of restaurants and cafes available in both terminals. Free WiFi access, VIP lounges and business centres are also available. Jeju International Airport currently does not have a hotel located within the airport grounds. Travelling to and from Jeju International Airport to Jeju's city centre
Jeju International Airport is located approximately 4 kilometres from the city centre. A taxi ride from the airport to the city centre will take only about 4 minutes of travel time and cost around KRW 6,500-8,000 (MYR 24-30).
A cheaper alternative to get to the city centre of Jeju from the airport would be to take an airport shuttle bus. Airport shuttle buses are located on the first floor of the International Terminal. Rates and timings may vary, so it is best to check with the airport service counter for the latest information.
For passengers who wish to travel in privacy and additional comfort, cars for hire are available at the airport. Local and international car companies can also be found on the first floor of the arrival area of the International Terminal.
