Copenhagen Airport, located in the suburb of Kastrup in Copenhagen, is the main international airport that serves that city of Copenhagen, Zealand, Øresund Region and Malmō, Sweden. It is one of Europe’s oldest international airport and the largest airport in the Nordic countries. It is also Northern Europe’s third busiest airport welcoming over 29 million passengers annually.
Originally called Kastrup Airport, it is formally called Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup to distinguish itself from Roskilde Airport which is also officially known as Copenhagen Airport, Roskilde. Copenhagen Airport in Kastrup has two terminals, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, which handles all domestic and international flights.
