Johor Bahru’s Senai International Airport (JHB) is a major airport that serves Johor Bahru, the state capital of Johor and the southernmost city in Peninsula Malaysia. This airport was previously known as Sultan Ismail International Airport.

Senai International Airport has two main terminals. As one of them accommodates cargo planes only, passengers from both domestic and international flights congregate in the other terminal. The airport is equipped with shops, cafes and fast-food chains. You’ll also find ATMs and currency exchange offices.

The airport is located around 28 kilometres from the city. A convenient way to get to the city centre from the airport is to arrange for an airport transfer, or to take a taxi which costs around RM60.
