Loved it!

Comfortable, basic but had everything you need. We stayed in the double room at the back with ensuite bathroom. Friendly owner who recommended we take a stroll to the golf club for dinner and see the kangaroos! We did and it was brilliant. Good pub food and lots of kangaroos! Also recommend kayaking on the river with Anglesey Canoe hire which was fantastic for wildlife.

Mediocre

Found a broken shower head on one visit to Anglesea in August 2016. Functional kitchen facilities and a comfortable living area. Room service was fairly average although the Wi-Fi does not really work.

Not really convincing!

The house was too much cold. We were freezing inside. Fortunately, there was a little heater for the room, but in the morning the toilette, the shower, and the kitchen were a nightmare.
We asked for the wood (6 dollars more) for the fireplace, but it wasn't available. :/
Not very good.
The kitchen is old style, still for my grandmother, but there are a lot of tools.
The location is good, nice town, at the beginning of the Great Ocean Road.
The room was clean.
Something needs to be improved.

Comfortable, great value & conveniently located

We were attending a function and just needed somewhere to sleep. The house appeared to be well appointed in the common areas and kitchen. Our double bedroom (which included an ensuite) was compact but suitable for our needs. Very good value for the price.

very clean and friendly

We had a one night stay (we saw Elton John in Geelong, he was brilliant) in a private room with an ensuite and it was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again and next time, would like more time to explore the surf beach and the interesting local shops.
