Here can visit Otaru Canal, Music Box Museum, the Classwork Shop shopping malls along the canal have been converted from stone-built or brick-built warehouses.

Traditional Japanese fishing village, and commercial hub of the area. Common to see and hear Russian spoken on the street.

Quaint Otaru is a port city at the Sea of Japan that is famous for its canal, fresh seafood, and main street that is lined by beautiful Russian inspired Japanese architecture. The main street is dotted by numerous seafood shops, restaurants, cafes, soft served ice cream stand, and of course glass shops.
