Best place for us in jersey - love if

We come here every year with our dog and stay on the cottages on the beach. Service always been good, the best quality of accomodation ive seen on the island and great facilities. The beach is empty and perfect not at all busy, great padel lessons and courts and gym at the resort - we rent a car for our trips which is not expensive and means its only 5 mins drive. The staff are super friendly

Disappointed

We have visited the resort for many years as the only place of its kind on Jersey, we have happy memories of visits there.
Unfortunately the resort is not as good as it once was, the amount of accommodation units have increased, the indoor pool has been closed therefore some days in the outdoor pool it was standing room only.
We booked into the restaurant for the children’s craft evening which has been great in the past as whilst children are busy we could enjoy a chat together, we booked this year it was cancelled the day before as they needed the room to feed 50 golfers instead.
I understand what makes more financial sense for the resort but for the amount we paid to stay, guests should be shown some consideration too.
There is not as many creative activities, build a bear and pottery painting that takes 14 days to complete so we couldn’t take part in our week stay, we were told they were unable to get the staff to run activities as they had done in the past.
In summary I will be spending my money on a more customer experience focussed resort in the future.

Great family holiday.

Great location. Good facilities. Bike hire and jump centre great. St Ouen bay is beautiful and 5 mins drive. Staff friendly and attentive. Accommodation very clean good quality. Personally the addition of a small on site shop selling basic items would be good. Highly recommend.

A nice trip away

This resort ticks most boxes. It’s safe, clean & has plenty of things for 2 active boys to do. We hired them bikes which were well used. Each day guests get one free activity in jump jersey eg, wall climbing, bouncing. There is yoga classes & a golf course. We tried the restaurant on our 1st night but were very disappointed with all 4 dinners so didn’t return however I have a latte & bacon & egg ciabatta this morning and it’s simply the best.
It’s an expensive holiday but it is a very pretty island

Golf shop very rude experience.

So I've been to the golf shop a few times and I've come across a person by the name of Brian. I've had a few interactions and even bought clubs before. I've just been in and actually been inquiring on trading in some clubs and purchasing new ones. I don't want to go into detail but his customer service was uncomfortable and horrible to say the least. I will not be returning unfortunately even though I've just purchased a golf pass at the club. I would avoid using the shop the island has better to offer.
