Kuching is known as cat city. And beyond the iconic cat statue and few murals, you'll find real cute kitties almost anywhere you go

A laid-back town, a good place to hang out for a while. Compared to the neighboring state's capital, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching's waterfront is longer and easier to walk. Good food is guaranteed.

A pleasant and easy-going riverside town, Kuching is likely the spot you'll land if traveling to Sarawak, on Malaysian Borneo. The town has a few old building and a market and a nice riverside walk. Be sure to eat some delicious Sarawak laksa before you leave, but for the really good stuff, you'll have to head out to the hawker centers in the suburbs.
