A good experience.

I dreamed of sleeping in this wonderful place. Being transported in time. Really a nice experience that I recommend to everyone. You have to sleep one night in Pérouges...It is not enough to make a hit-and-run visit. Clean room, very friendly staff and above all what an atmosphere in the evening... A really relaxing silence...
All right.

Unhelpful and unfriendly

Our fault for not booking but the restaurant was full when we tried to get in . Normally not an issue as our fault but it was disappointing that when we asked for advice about where we may eat in this tiny place we got told to just walk and find out. Just very unfriendly unwelcoming host . Obviously can’t comment on the food quality but if you count friendliness/ helpfulness as service then 0/10 for service!

What a disappointment!

We have known Perugia and its cake for more than 30 years and unfortunately what we liked about this inn was the delicious perouge pie, it was its unctuous hot chocolate served in a tableware "madeleine de Proust"
But none of this magic anymore chocolate is tied, cold served in an ugly cup, the cake has lost its recipe it's just a bunch of white sugar served on an undercooked dough
I thought that in touristic times that was the reason why they were overwhelmed but to have been there several times in quiet times and during the week it does not change anything. Everything is lost...... One more address to forget...

Great experience

Central in Perouges and very nice experience staying in a medieval village and hotel. Service is great and restaurant is very good, although a bit expensive.
Owner even accepted to change reservation last minute - higgly recommended for a time travel to another age!

Quality/price not at the appointment.

Expensive for the service that is offered. Small lunch for 14 euros in addition to the price of the room to have a coffee with two pastries, bread, butter, jam and two pieces of sugar cake. Expensive for what is served.
The decor matches the site but even the toilet brush appears to be from the period. Disappointed between the price and the service. Not even a bottle of water in the room.
