No Communication

We booked this guesthouse as a stopover.
We are a family of 4.
We had booked this guesthouse but because there was no longer a 4 person room available we had booked a room of 3 and 1 room of 2 (so 1 of us had to stay in a room alone )
We report to very friendly boy and give us the 2 keys.
The 1st room very large (enough for 4 people) but this was the 2.person room .
Then our room came all the way in the basement very old and smelled very stale / old ....could not describe it but here I did not sleep !I went back upstairs and to the reception to find a solution but there were no other rooms available, after negotiation I suggested to just keep the 2 room and that it was enough for 4 people. with 3 in the big bed (because fe youngest was only 8 years old anyway) and 1 in the sofa bed .the young person behind the counter asked if this was really not a problem and I confirmed that this was not a problem and he said he would give a discount of 106€ on the normal total price with the 2 rooms (I should of course have had this noted on site !!!)
S'morning I'm going to check out and of course it's already going wrong there no Communication.....girls knew nothing behind the desk, boss on the line had to wake up the young one from yesterday who said this was not right and it was their word against mine !!!!
I can't stand that at all !!!!
Then you get this review from me !honesty lasts the longest but that was not at all with them !!!!
I just paid for it. I didn't go into it because it was a lost cause anyway!
But a tip I can give you will have everything put on paper immediately!

All right.

Hotel a little old but super well placed 3 minutes walk from the tram that drops you off in Innsbruck.
The exceptional breakfast offering many things.
The staff is really very welcoming even gave us tips to visit Innsbruck.

Simple but good

Stayed here for one night when passing by. It’s a simple hotel with quite old-fashioned rooms but it was all in all a good stay. They are sharing reception and restaurant with a more modern hotel, so the restaurant was modern and served very tasty food. Breakfast was very good with a lot to choose from. Nice mountain view from some of the rooms and the hotel is located in a charming village. There were two 11 kW EV-chargers outside the reception, I believe they charged 6 EUR/hour.

Never again

Double bedroom in a basement , bed frame with attached bedside tables, desk , a chair and a wardrobe two doors from the 1960s (if not earlier)
The discreet bathroom , shower with siphon of the same vintage as the furniture , quite clean
I won't go back, absolutely
