Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is situated in the region of Samut Prakan, 30 kilometres away from Bangkok and has two terminals, domestic and international. It is the country’s biggest international airport. Bangkok flights to Don Mueang Airport (DMK)
Don Mueang Airport (DMK) is smaller compared to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. However, it is situated slightly closer to the centre of town, about 23 kilometres away from Siam Area. A bus ride from the Don Mueang Airport to Bangkok downtown centre can probably take between 30 minutes to an hour. The trip will cost around THB 200 (RM25). The best time to visit Bangkok is from December to February. During these months, the temperatures can drop to 20 degrees Celsius and it would be more comfortable to travel around Bangkok, especially if you do not like the hot and humid tropical weather.
