Danhostel Ringsted is housed in the historical "Amstuegaard" in the centre of Ringsted in Zealand, less than an hour's drive from Copenhagen. All rooms have their own bathroom and toilet. There is also a communal room and a lounge with a TV.

Best stop off so far....

Amazing room with ensuite. Super clean, clothes washing/drying facilities. Children's outdoor play area, lots of parking, super helpful staff.
100% recommend this place. We're currently on a driving holiday around Scandinavia.
Super market (Reme 1000) 5min walk, great surroundings and easy to find.

That will do

Helpful and friendly, room clean but arrived late and needed to make beds. The ladder for the bunk bed wasn’t very safe and moved. Unfortunately there was a green flashing light throughout the night coming from the ceiling (so bring eye masks) nice building and easy location for E20 road trip.

Nice room

Really nice room on the 1st floor there is what should be. However, there is no glass in the room as they are obviously being stolen. Buy a one-time glass. But you can take one up from the common kitchen if you know it. There is no service on site after 18:00.

Centrally located hostels

The hostel is located very centrally in Ringsted but in a quiet environment
Easy check-in and according and competent staff.
The room is ok and the same for the cleaning, but the bed simply too small for 2 adults.
The room had the impression that the previous visitor had eaten popcorn, for the room almost stinked.
You should've ok ventilated.
You can buy breakfast and it's ok. Staff ensure continuous fulfillment.
So is one for hostels it can be recommended especially the price taken into account.

Family Friendly.

Currently touring Scandinavia with our family of 5. We enjoyed the room very much.
- Spacious accommodation.
- The blackout blinds in the windows were nice - for our foreign family trying to adjust to the time difference.
- friendly staff were easily able to accommodate our late arrival with keys in lock boxes
- Lots of shops and restaurants close by.
- Creaky floors
- The main floor is a day care. It hadn’t occurred to me that we would woken by loud playful children being dropped off at 6:30 am. Some ear plugs and white noise was a quick remedy.
