Great Place & Location!

Great place! The location is excellent, near great restaurants and Boxhanger. The common areas are clean. The private room is spacious and comfortable. The staff is helpful. You also have access to a kitchen. There is good coffee as well. It's a nice place to meet other travelers.

Cosy place with the sweetest people

I’ve been to a lot of hostels but this one was my favorite by far. It made me feel home. The other travellers are relaxed (so you can take your rest) but are social as well if you’re in the mood to have a conversation. The people who work in the hostel work very hard to help you with everything they can and they you great advice about the city. The hostel is very cosy, it has a homy chill room with plants, books, cookies and coffee and it’s located in a wonderful artistic neighbourhood. If you want to make friends for a lifetime in a safe and beautiful environment I would recommend this place!

Could be better

The Hostel was good, they had 2 clean bathrooms outside our room which made the morning process a lot easier.
But, the bed was awful. The matress was ruined and it was sinking as soon as you lied down. That resulted to back pain.
Also you can hear everything that is happening.

Affordable and nice neighbourhood

This hostel was very cosy, affordable and in a neighbourhood with loads of good restaurants and chill bars. The house was nice with good areas to hang around and cozy rooms. Downsides were just the paperthin walls. You could hear everything that was going on which was a bit distracting.

Simple, cozy and cheerful

Location is great. 20' from the centre with easy access to public transportation, yet situated where locals hang out and right next door to Urban Spree, one of the best alternative complexes I've seen and a must go in Berlin.
The facilities are small but they do the job, clean and welcoming with a simple joyful decoration. Access to computer, smoking area, storage space and big enough kitchen. It seemed like there was enough bathrooms for the size of the hostel and the showers/water pressure are really good, which is a struggle for most hostels.
My girlfriend and I booked a 4 bed dorm but as we were doing the check-in they suggested an upgrade to a private room simply because the room was free and we are a couple. With no change on the price.
That kind of sympathy and honesty goes a long way and we definitely go home with the most positive impression of the hostels business model and friendly staff.
The room had towels, a small wardrobe and nightstand with lamps. Bed was comfortable and the pillows great.
As for sound insulation it needs some improvement but being a small hostel I don't believe it would ever be that noisy.
Special thanks to Euy that took the time to speak to us about his moving to Berlin and a few tips on do's and don't's for our own settling in the city.
Cheers to that.
