Our stay at MOXY Rust fell below expectations due to several issues we experienced.
We chose the hotel after finding it under the "Breakfast Included" filter on Hotels.com, which influenced our booking decision. However, there was a discrepancy between the search results and the hotel listing: the hotel appeared as "Breakfast Included" in the search results, while the listing details showed that breakfast was only available for an additional charge. We contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com in writing, but received no response for three days. When we asked at reception the following morning, we were told that the "Breakfast Included" option did not apply to families with children. This condition was not stated before booking.
There was also no hot water one night. We were moved to another room around midnight, but the same problem continued there. The issue was only resolved by the evening. We also noticed some housekeeping issues: the shower gel dispenser was empty, the drinking glasses were placed upside down directly on the bathroom counter without any protective layer, and the sink in the second room was slightly clogged.
After our stay, we received a polite response to our feedback and the issues we experienced were acknowledged. However, the way these issues were handled did not change our overall impression of the stay.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. Overall, the hotel itself is nice and comfortable, but the housekeeping service was a major disappointment.
Upon check-in, we explicitly requested daily room cleaning and fresh towels for our entire stay. However, during 2 out of the 3 nights, our room was completely ignored—no clean towels and no service at all.
When we raised the issue after the first day, the front desk claimed it wasn't noted in their system. To their credit, they apologized and compensated us with 4 complimentary drink vouchers, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened after the second day. Once again, our room wasn't cleaned, and when we spoke to the staff, they used the exact same excuse—that it wasn't recorded in the system. This time, however, no compensation or real solution was offered.
It’s a shame because the hotel has great potential, but basic communication and housekeeping consistency definitely need improvement.

Terrible!

First impression, modern and newly built!
You cannot call it a hotel, it is terrible for families, I would not set foot in such an accommodation again. No closet in the room, instead a few hooks, not even my dog has such a small hut. Carpet and leather cushions are totally stylish but not well thought out hygienically. You can do that at home, but certainly not in a room with changing guests.
Room: Small, sparsely furnished, you can be glad that there are beds here and not sleeping bags.
Service: you cannot call it that. It had nothing to do with hotel professionals, it is more of a waiter who also hands over keys. Started using the informal 'you' right away, I asked a few times because I could not believe it...
Amenities: I hear every word from the neighbors, including the toilet bowl incl. flushing and many other noises that you do not want to hear. Not needed.
Disaster, I would never do that again.

Great stay, exceeded my expectations. Fun lively vibe in bar area. Room and communal areas very clean and well maintained. Underground parking useful, kept car cool and secure. Breakfast good selection, we got our money's worth for the 17 euros, I felt that was a very fair price considering what you would pay for a coffee and pastry in a coffee shop for example. Other days though we grabbed breakfast from the very nearby Lidl or Edeka, both so useful. Room adequate space, lacking a wardrobe though but most people are staying for a couple of days only I would imagine. We stayed for a week and despite saying only room service once in the week we actually had it every day which was marvellous. Good air con and we found the beds very comfortable and slept better than at home, beds on the firm side if you like that. Welcome free drink also a lovely touch. Another thing of note is to how quiet we found it, both internally and externally. No screaming kids in corridor or slamming doors and no traffic noise, I couldn't hear a peep from neighbouring rooms. Definitely recommend as a good value and quality base for Europapark but also, as we did, to explore the wider area. Just over 6 HR easy drive from Calais if coming from UK so not too bad at all.
