A magical place

A magical place! No reservations to make. Everything is perfect! Even better than the pictures! Location in the heart of the ideal medina, excellent breakfast! Dream stay!

Beautiful Calm amongst madness of Marrakech

We stayed at Riad Chorfa for my sisters-in-law’s 60th Birthday celebrations from the 1st to 6th October, Angela Yarwood. This was my wife’s and my first visit to Morocco and Marrakech so had an element of excitement and trepidation.
Marrakech was colourful, entertaining and the Souks were mad, but the Riad itself is excellently position in the old medina and provided an oasis of peace and tranquillity amongst the madness that is Marrakech.
A huge shout out to the host, Cedric, and his wonderful team:
Aziz, Rachid, Abdul, Amina and Mohammed, who made the trip both memorable and, where possible, hassle feel.
I would highly recommend Riad Chorfa to any large groups who want an oasis to retire to whilst enjoying the entertainment that Marrakech offers.

Great place, well located, good views, really helpful staff, heaps of character - perfect.

Our first time in Morocco, and we couldn’t have found a better placed to stay.
Good early communication from the owner with advice and potential trips. Booked airport shuttle through the Riad also.
Room was full of character with many nice touches in the decor (see photos)
There are plenty of places to relax around the Riad, particularly the roof garden which has amazing views across the city, and further to the Atlas Mountains.
We booked a guide on the first morning (again through the Riad) which really helped us see the city in context, and took us to places we would never have found on our own.
We took excursions to OurikaValley which included waterfall hike, a real Berber market, and a fabulous lunch.
We also took a camel ride in the Agafay Desert, which was superb (again, booked through the Riad)
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
Location was a short walk to the Jemma al Fna, and to many attractions.
We would come back anytime….

Nice stay

A Riad without reproach!
