Cheap flights from Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein, officially the Principality of Liechtenstein, is a small, doubly landlocked alpine country and microstate in Central Europe. It is bordered by Switzerland to the west and south and by Austria to the east and north – the only country to lie entirely in the Alps. The capital city of Liechtenstein is Vaduz while its biggest town is Schaan. It has a land area of just over 160 square kilometres and has an estimated population of 35,000. It has the highest gross domestic product per person in the world when adjusted by purchasing power parity, as well as one of the world’s lowest unemployment rates. Its official language is German, Alemannic dialect.

Liechtenstein is the last remnant of the Holy Roman Empire and an independent nation with very close ties to Switzerland, enjoying a very high standard of living and breath-taking mountain scenery.
