Cheap flights to Ohio

Located near the East Coast of the United States, Ohio has a strategic location for promoting economic growth. Its share of Lake Erie on the north allows Ohio to have a long stretch of ports, making it easier to bring cargo to Michigan and Pennsylvania. There are also many rivers within the state such as the Great Miami River, Maumee River, Cuyahoga River, and others. This makes Ohio one of the places to be when it comes to boating, fishing, and other water activities.

Another interesting feature about Ohio is its land geography. On its western part are the Huron-Erie Lake Plains and Till Plains extending from the Central Lowland area. Its eastern side is the glaciated Allegheny Plateaus. Part of it is attached to the Appalachian Plateau Range, a forested area perfect for hiking and nature tours.

Ohio is such a wonderful place to visit due to its mix of city and countryside getaways. For those who'd like to stay in the city, Cleveland offers many landmarks to visit. Travellers on Euclid Ave, for instance, can enjoy a visit to the Cleveland Museum of Art, Museum of Natural History, Institute of Music, and Cinematheque. For music lovers, there's the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ready for tourists.

There's also the Botanical Garden, one of the city's highlights. The landscape is particularly stunning due to the profusion of colour from the blooming flowers. Children and adults will find something to like here, as the Botanical Garden also features the Hershey Children's Garden and Japanese Garden in its premises.

When tourists want to explore other parts of Ohio, there's the Cincinnati Zoo to visit. It's located on the other end of the state, where tourists will see various species. There are also many exhibits there such as the Cat Canyon and the Night Hunters.

Those on a relaxation trip, on the other hand, can interact with people from another culture. Tourists can enjoy staying in the Amish Country in Berlin, which is known to be the world's largest Amish community. Great-looking sceneries can be found here, tourists will enjoy exploring. The Amish also enjoy a lot of homemade dishes, which adds pleasing flavours to simple meals.

Thrill-seekers will also have fun in Cedar Point Amusement Park and Resort. Make sure to ride the Millennium Force, which is considered one of the enjoyable steel roller coasters in the world. It's famous for its tense yet exciting start where an elevator lift cable system will pull the compartments for an 80-degree drop. For those who want to do some sedate strolling, there's the live entertainment to look forward to during summer. Mascots such as Snoopy and Charlie Brown sometimes appear in a parade or interact with the tourists.
