The Republic of Sierra Leone is a West African country bordered by Guinea to the northeast and LIberia to the southeast, with a coastline in the Atlantic Ocean to the southwest. Mamunta Mayosso Wildlife Sanctuary - A large range of vegetation can be found in the Mamunta Mayosso Wildlife Sanctuary. The reserve features a Savanna, a secondary forest and two perennial lakes where the rare 'dwarf crocodile' can be found. Mamunta also contains over 252 species of birds that belong to 51 families, and eight species of primates.

Banana Islands - The Banana Islands is a group of three islands called Dublin (known for its beaches), Ricketts (known for its forests), and Mes-Meheux. The first two islands are connected by a stone causeway (which becomes underwater at high tide), while the third one is remain uninhabited. Dublin Island is noted for its nice beaches, while Ricketts Island is known for its forests.

Lake Sonfon - Lake Sonfon, also called Lake Confon, is a mountain lake in Diang that bears religious and cultural significance. It is fed from seven small streams with different water levels. The measurement of the lake from the surface to the bottom is over 26 feet. Lake Sonfon is known as the largest lake in Sierra Leone. Several birds have been identified in this lake, such as the Splendid Sunbird and the Red-Faced Pytillia. Endangered animals like the Pygmy Hippopotamus and Black Duikers can also be found in the lake.

The way out of Sierra Leone by air travel is through Freetown-Lungi International Airport, or Lungi International Airport. It is situated in the coastal town of Lungi and provides both domestic and international services. The airport offered flights to Abidjan, Monrovia, Paris, Banjul, Dakar, Lagos, Accra, Lomé, Monrovia, London, Brussels, Nairobi, and Casablanca, but many of these services are suspended until further notice. Air France, Arik Air, ASKY Airlines, British Airways, and Kenya Airways are among those who have suspended service in and out of Sierra Leone: Air Côte d'Ivoire, Brussels Airline, and Royal Air Maroc still operates between Sierra Leone and Abidjan, Monrovia, Brussels, and Casablanca.
