The Pioneer Square is the city’s historic heart. The Smith Tower, at 42 stories, stands out among the rest and the observation deck on the 35th floor is ideal for sightseeing.

Take a stroll along the Seattle Waterfront, where you can find tourist attractions, boat tours and ferry docks. At the same time, visit Seattle Aquarium and, the Waterfront Park and Olympic Sculpture Park, which is filled with outdoor artwork.

The Seattle Center, an entertainment complex with theatres, restaurants and sports facilities is a must-visit.

Hiram M Chittenden Locks, also known as Ballard Locks, is unique to Seattle. There, you can watch boat traffic move between Puget Sound and the lakes and see salmon swim upstream.

What to eat in Seattle
