      Getting to central Tenerife from Tenerife North Airport (TFN)

      • Central Tenerife is about 11 kilometres from TFN, the city's main gateway.

      • If you're taking a taxi or ride-sharing after your flight to Tenerife, it'll take around 15 minutes to get to the centre.

      • The ride when using public transport takes roughly 35 minutes.

      • Be curled up in bed not long after your flight to Tenerife. Put your bags down at one of these stays close to Tenerife North Airport and you'll be fast asleep in no time:

      • Get on the fast track to adventure by picking up a car rental at TFN. Rent your wheels from Goldcar, TopCar or Budget and experience the lesser-explored corners of Tenerife.

      Tenerife highlights

      • Put these major attractions high on your must-see list after stepping off your flight to Tenerife:

        • Plaza de Espana: Offering a classic introduction to everything the city has to offer, this landmark is around 0.80 kilometres east of the centre.

        • Mirador de Playa Benijo: This will be another highlight of your trip. A memorable landmark, it's around 13 kilometres northeast of the heart of Tenerife.
