Regent Airways, owned by HG Aviation Ltd, is an airline in Bangladesh and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Habib Group which has interests in real estate, apparel, energy, steel and more. 

 

Founded in 2010, Regent Airways is headquartered in Uttara, Dhaka with its primary hub at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and secondary hub at Shah Amanat International Airport. The airline, with a fleet size of 6 aircraft, operates flights to 8 destinations including cities in India, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Singapore and Thailand. It also includes domestic destinations in Bangladesh namely, Dhaka, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar.

How to Check In

Airport check-in is the only available option for checking in for flights with Regent Airways. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 2 to 3 hours before flight departure to have ample time to complete the check-in process as well as security and immigration checks.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Regent Airways offers complimentary baggage allowance for all flights. Economy Class passengers are allowed to check-in up to 20 kilogrammes while Business Class passengers have up to 30 kilogrammes. All passengers are allowed one piece of cabin baggage or hand carried luggage which must not exceed the maximum weight limit of 7 kilogrammes and should meet the standard baggage size specifications.

Seating

Regent Airways offers Economy Class, Premium Economy and Business Class seats. For the Bombardier Dash-8-Q300s aircraft, it is a full economy seating configuration in a 2-2 layout. For the Boeing 737-700 flights, 126 passengers are accommodated, 12 of which are in Business Class. While in the Boeing 737-800 flights, it offers 8 Business Class seats and 15 Premium Economy Class seats with the rest in Economy Class.

Inflight Services

Regent Airways offers in-flight meals supplied by Biman Flight Catering Centre. For short domestic flights, light snacks and beverages are provided. Traditional cuisine is served on international flights. In-flight entertainment is available on Boeing 737-700s flights through Passenger Service Units (PSU) in Economy Class while Business Class passengers are provided iPads. Inflight entertainment is not available on flights using the Bombardier Dash-8-Q300s.
