Etchmiadzin Cathedral

Etchmiadzin Cathedral, located in Vagharshapat, is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church. It is reportedly the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia. It considered to be the oldest cathedral in the world and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Lovers' Park Yerevan

There is a public park on Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan called Lovers' Park, due to the fact that it is a favourite spot amongst couples. Formerly called Kozern Park and later Pushkin Park, it lies over an area of 2.5 hectares in the centeral Kentron district. There is a small café with lots of outdoor seats, and small central ampitheatre where some events such as music festivals, exhibitions, live concerts, open-air movie screenings and open-air reading festivals are held.

Established in 1920, the History Museum of is a national museum located on Republic Square in Yerevan. The departments of the museum include Archaeology, Numismatics, Ethnography, Modern History, and Restoration. The museum does conservation and restoration work and offers educational and scientific programs on Armenian history and culture. It also publishes works on Armenian architecture, ethnography, archaeology, and history.
