Flights to India

Famous for its cuisine and Bollywood, India is a real Asian gem that must be experienced. Start with Agra, a major tourist destination thanks to India’s greatest symbol of love, the Taj Mahal. Visit in the early morning or evening to not only avoid crowds, but also appreciate the glorious sunrise or sunset over the beautiful marble structure. After that, head to the “Baby Taj”, Itmad-ud-Daulah’s tomb, the first mausoleum which was constructed with only marble. Don’t forget to stop by the Agra Fort as well. The towering fortress on the bank of the Yamuna River has red sandstone turrets and gates that feature a mix of architectural styles.

Travel on to Kashmir, affectionately known to locals as “Paradise on Earth”. The city is well-known for its natural beauty, which includes snow-laden peaks, waterfalls and gardens. Visit Sonamarg, a glacier featured in many Bollywood movies, or if you’re in the mood to ski, head to Gulmarg. A popular skiing destination, Gulmarg offers stunning landscapes as you ski or you can appreciate the beauty of the area on a gondola.

Goa, one of the most popular destinations amongst tourists, is the perfect place to relax with loved ones. Engage in water sports like banana boating, wind surfing and parasailing together as a family, or enjoy a lively night out with friends. Alternatively, you could explore nature trails, which will lead you to discover a wide range of wildlife. Do visit the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and the Dudhsagar Waterfalls if you can. Shoppers can head to local marketplaces and flea markets for the best buys. From ethnic attire to small souvenirs—Goa has it all. Remember to bargain!

Be sure to visit Delhi as well, one of the most historic capital cities in the world. Start your journey into India’s past at the national monument, the India Gate. Continue on to the Lotus Temple and the Qutub Minar. The latter is the second tallest Minar in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Delhi is rooted in tradition and culture, considered by many to be the heart of India, so a visit will definitely provide you with a greater understanding into the country.
