Why fly with Japan Airlines

Check-in

Japan Airlines offers its passengers several ways to check-in for their flights at their convenience and comfort. "QuiC" is Japan Airlines' convenient service that allows passengers the ability to check-in online, select seats and print their boarding passes making it possible to bypass airport check-in and head directly to security checks. However, it should be noted that some airports may still require you to check-in at airport counters or the self-check-in machine. For passengers with baggage to check-in, proceed to the Fast Baggage Drop counter no later than 60 minutes before departure time. This service is available for all flight routes operated by JAL and select flights with American Airlines, British Airways and Finnair. Web check-in is available from 72 hours up to 1 hour before flight departure time. Japan Airlines also offer International Self Check-in Machines (I-SCM) to make checking in at the airport easier and faster. Passengers can choose their seats and manage their mileage through the self-check-in machines. It can also be used by passengers with checked baggage. These self-check-in machines are available at the Narita International Airport, Haneda Airport and the Kansai International Airport.
