Cheap flights from Switzerland

Switzerland is a beautiful landlocked country composed of epic proportions: winter tourism in the Alps, rural and urban whimsical sights, tranquil mountain spa waters, and natural landscapes that seemingly pops out of fairy tale books and becomes larger than life with each fleeting second. In Switzerland, variety of life is king. Come here for a taste of Alpine tradition; stuff yourself with hearty and flavourful meal, topped with mouth-watering chocolate, and do it all over again.

Where to go

Zurich is the largest city in the country, and is a good place to while away time. While in here, you should go see Regensberg, a nice little village on a hill. It is a municipality in the district of Dielsdorf. Regensberg was founded as a hilltop settlement in 1245 that include a 21-metre high round tower that dates back from 16th or 17th century, and 57 metres deep water well. You should also go see the Kyburg Castle in the municipality of Kyburg, deemed a Swiss heritage site of national significance. The castle is situated above the Töss river, and was regarded as a refuge castle during the early 10th century.

Meanwhile in the capital Berne, you can help yourself to a number of historical museums as well as a bit of public art. The Berne Historical Museum is deemed as the country’s second largest historic museum that houses a number of ethnographic collections together with Bernese collection from prehistory to present day. You can also go to the Bear Park for a day stroll, which is inseparably linked with bears.

From Zurich Airport, you can reach other nearby destinations such as Warsaw-Chopin in Poland, Billund in Denmark, or Larnaca in Cyprus. Billund in Denmark is a great destination, which once served as the seat of the Viking raiders and later on, became a major European power. Leering away from historic places, Billund is also a fine destination for little tykes, young adults, and old people since this is the birthplace of the popular Lego toys. Here, you can unleash the inner child within and enjoy life as it is.

From Zurich Airport, fly to Seoul-Incheon in Korea, Toronto-Pearson in Canada, or New York. South Korea would be a great Asian destination. You can do karaoke in the metropolitan cities, or go snowboarding in the Kangwon-do province. You can also go to Boryeong Province and witness the Mud Festival, a notorious but equally fun past time in mid-July, wherein participants drench themselves in mud and take part in everything from mud wrestling to body painting.
