Manchester Airport is located southwest of the Manchester city centre and it is one of the busiest airports in the United Kingdom in terms of passenger traffic. It also has the honour of being the largest airport outside the London region. You can easily get from the airport to Manchester Piccadilly Station and other stations throughout northern England. Otherwise, you can take a bus or coach that ply both local and regional routes daily. The buses serve many locations throughout the city centre, Greater Manchester, and nearby cities. There is also a 24-hour bus service operated by Skyline should you be arriving at the airport at an unearthly hour. For taxi service, you can either get a pre-paid taxi or any black cabs found in abundance outside all three terminals.
