Why fly with Sun Air

How to Check In

SUN-AIR provides passengers with several ways to check-in for flights. The airline recommends that travellers check-in online or through British Airways' official mobile app to avoid crowds and delays at the airport. Online and mobile app check-in is available 24 hours up to an hour before the scheduled flight departure time. Once checked-in, passengers can print their boarding pass, save it on the mobile device or collect at the airport. If unable to check-in online, passengers can go direct to the airport and check-in at the airline’s check-in counters. It is recommended to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled flight departure to complete the check-in process and have ample time to go through immigration and security checks. The airline requires passengers to be at the safety check at least half an hour before the departure time.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

SUN-AIR offers complimentary baggage allowance on all flights. All passengers are allowed to check-in one piece of luggage not exceeding the maximum weight limit of 23 kilogrammes. Extra baggage fees apply at a fixed rate for a one-way trip. Should more baggage allowance is needed, it is recommended to pre-purchase this online to enjoy a discount. Do note that bags exceeding 32 kilogrammes will not be accepted. For hand carried or cabin baggage, all passengers are allowed to hand carry two items not exceeding 6 kilogrammes per item. The cabin bag should also not exceed the maximum size dimension of 45cm x 36cm x 20cm.

SUN-AIR offers all passengers the chance to pre-select their preferred seat before the flight departure. Certain fare types booked may incur an additional fee for the service. Executive Club Gold and Silver members of their frequent flyer programme can enjoy this service for free. To pre-select a preferred seat, just proceed to manage your flight booking at the airline's official website and follow the instructions laid out for you.

In-flight services

SUN-AIR offers complimentary onboard dining for all flights. Meals will vary depending on the time of flight and length of the journey. If flying in the morning, breakfast will be offered, sandwiches and light snacks will be served for mid-day flights while full evening meals may be served for later flights. A selection of beverages will be available to accompany the meals. For in-flight entertainment, SUN-AIR provides an in-flight magazine called the SUN-AIR Magazine which provides excellent travel content with ideas for your next trip or which spots to hit at your intended destination.
