Why Fly with Tigerair Taiwan

Ways to Check-in

Tigerair Taiwan recommends that all passengers arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time to allow ample time to complete all check-in, security and immigration procedures.

Check-in counters at the airport are available 2 and a half hours before the departure and will close 45 minutes before departure. Passengers are also asked to proceed to the boarding gate directly as it closes 30 minutes before departure.

Tigerair Taiwan does not offer complimentary baggage allowance. However, passengers can purchase baggage allowance during the booking as part of a fare package or any time before departure date by calling their airline's call centre. It is recommended to purchase this during the booking process to avail of discounted rates. If purchasing at the airport, you can only buy up to 15 kilogrammes of free baggage allowance at standard rates. Any excess baggage will then be subject to excess baggage rates.

For hand carried luggage, passengers are allowed to carry two small items not exceeding the dimension of 54cm x 38cm x 23cm each and up to 10 kilogrammes combined weight. Anything bulkier or heavier would need to be checked-in.

Tigerair Taiwan automatically assigns seating for all passengers. However, passengers can choose to select or reserve their preferred seat during the booking process for a small additional fee. For passengers who wish to select their seats after completing the booking process, simply call the airline's call centre to reserve seats.

In-flight Services

Tigerair Taiwan, as a low-cost airline, does not offer complimentary dining or entertainment during the flight. However, passengers can purchase light snacks, hot meals and beverages during the flight for a nominal fee.
