Flydubai Flights

Flydubai is a low-cost airline based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The airline is owned by the government and has its headquarters at the Dubai International Airport , which is also one of the airline’s operating bases with Al Maktoum International Airport.

Founded in 2008, Flydubai commenced flight operations only in 2009. The airline has since expanded to a fleet size of 58 aircraft operating flights to over 90 destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe. Flydubai currently doesn't operate flights out of any Malaysian airport.

Flydubai has positioned itself as an airline that links Dubai to home countries of UAE's guest workers and low-cost destinations. It aims not to compete with Emirates, its sister airline, instead focusing on new routes and destinations that did not exist.

Why Fly Flydubai

Ways to Check-in

Flydubai offers passengers two ways to check-in for flights – by checking in at the airport or online. The airline recommends that passengers check-in online to avoid long queues and possible delays at the airport. The online check-in service is available for all flights departing from Dubai and some selected departures. It is best to check the airline’s official website for the latest information. Passengers can check-in online 24 hours up to 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

For passengers who prefer to check-in at the airport, they can continue to do so by heading straight to the airport check-in counters or use one of the self-services kiosks currently available for Dubai departures. Self-service kiosks are available for passengers to check-in between 24 hours to an hour before the flight departure. Meanwhile, airport check-in counters will open 3 hours up to an hour before the scheduled departure.
