Jeju Air Flights

Jeju Air, based in Jeju-do in South Korea, is the first low-cost airline carrier in Korea offering domestic flights between Jeju Island and Seoul as well as other destinations outside Korea. The airline has hubs at the Incheon International Airport, Gimpo International Airport and Jeju International Airport. Jeju Air is a member of the first pan-regional LCC alliance in the world, Value Alliance, which includes other low-cost airlines such as Cebu Pacific, Scoot, Tigerair Singapore and Vanilla Air. 


Jeju Air, founded in 2005, has grown to a fleet size of 27 Boeing 737-800 aircraft operating flights across 30 destinations including Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Guam, Manila, Taipei, Bangkok and Hanoi. In Malaysia, Jeju Air operates flights from Kota Kinabalu.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Jeju Air offers complimentary checked baggage allowance. Domestic passengers are allowed a maximum of 15 kilogrammes while international passengers can check-in a maximum of 23 kilogrammes. Excess baggage will be subject to additional fees at the airport. All passengers also allowed hand carried or cabin luggage not exceeding 10 kilogrammes in weight.


Jeju Air offers a few seating options during the online booking process. Seat selection will be charged a small fee depending on the flight route and seat type. Other options include the ability to purchase extra seats around selected seat for additional space and legroom or to buy a Sleeping Seat package which comes with two extra seats plus a blanket and pillow.

Inflight services

Jeju Air is a low-cost carrier, so flights do not include complimentary in-flight meals and entertainment. However, for those who wish to eat during the trip, hot meals can be pre-purchased through the official airline website before departure. While there are no in-flight entertainment devices, the airline's in-flight FUN service teams may keep you entertained with live music and games.


Jeju Air offers web check-in services for select Jeju Air flights. Online check-in is available 24 hours before your flight departure time. Passengers who check-in online will be able to print out their boarding pass or download it to their mobile phone. For those travelling with checked baggage, they would need to drop off their bags at the drop-off counter at the airport.
